Sergeant Major Mark Gunner is serving his last tour and looking forward to getting out of the Marines. When he gets a letter that captures his heart, everything suddenly changes.
Their worlds connect and letters flow, creating a love unlike any other.
But when their time is up and the letters stop, will his claim remain?
Warning: This is a super quick, sweet, and dirty read with a small Valentine twist. *whispers* Don’t worry, it’s a happily ever after!
BONUS BOOK: Snow & Mistletoe anther sweet quickie will be at the end of PS... You’re Mine as a bonus book for the first two weeks after release. PS... You’re Mine ends half way through the book.
PS… You’re Mine caught my eye for two reasons: 1) I’ve read a lot of Alexa Riley so she’s on my radar and 2) I love this cover. Alexa Riley seems to have gotten covers designed with some pretty fantastic models lately. First there was the model on the cover for Mechanic – gah! that beard is so sexy – who was also used in Thief. Now there’s this cover, too.
The sad part of my reading of PS… You’re Mine is that I’ve read a lot of Alexa Riley lately – which means I’m really starting to notice her writing ticks. Ms Riley likes to write older man, younger woman romances where the woman is almost always a virgin and the man is almost always obsessed. She loves short, curvy redheads and statuesque blonds – that’s her thing. PS… You’re Mine has a heroine that is a short, curvy, red-head virgin…awfully like Cherry from Taking the Fall and Ruby from Riding Red. I’m good with curvy redheads but the repetition makes the stories a little less enjoyable. 🙁
Other than the above mentioned, I LOVE that Mark and Katie started their relationship as pen pals. I thought the entire idea of the story was (and is) incredibly cute. OMG So cute. So, this is cute and short and a bit more enjoyable if you haven’t read as much AR as close together as I have lately.
