Everything was fine until that innocent little rich girl walked into my garage. Since the second I laid my eyes on her, all I've wanted to do is get my dirty hands on her pure body.

There's one minor obstacle standing in my way, but I've got a plan. All I've got to do is claim her, and she’ll be mine forever.

Warning: This book is over-the-top, insta-love. There's nothing but steamy scenes, babies trying to be made, and an obsessed bearded alpha hero claiming a virgin who will be his forever. If you want it hot and dirty, this is it!

*whispers* There's a sweet smutty surprise at the end!

NOTE: There is a second novella at the end of Mechanic titled Joey & Law. I will post that review separately.

I’m really not sure how but I’ve recently started reading Alexa Riley. I have a Kindle Unlimited membership and most of her stuff is available via Kindle Unlimited. Most of AR’s stuff is rather smutty and it hits that smut spot pretty perfectly if you’re into shorts/novellas.

I haven’t read the first book in the series – Coach. O_O It’s about a guy who is having sex with his best friend’s high school daughter….and it has a creeper cover… Also just wanted to note that I really, really dislike the series title.

Mechanic is a bit different than the other stuff I’ve read by Ms Riley – though I have to admit I’ve not read all of her work. Mechanic is an insta-love/insta-lust over the top erotic romance that can be a bit hard to believe. But since the blurb told me what I was getting I wasn’t surprised.

The hero, Paine, meets the heroine when her car needs some work. I *think* Paine owns the only shop in their small town. The heroine, Penelope, grew up in boarding schools so the two never met. When Paine sees Penelope he loses it and goes a little caveman on her. They have a very intimate sexual encounter immediately – before exchanging names – and then Paine started reminding me of Kristen Ashley heroes: overly demanding and stalker-ish. He follows her around and sorta forces himself on her (she wasn’t complaining). I honestly think the first encounter they have is the hottest. It kinda got a little weird for me the moment he starts talking about “breeding” her and that he wasn’t going to stop until “she was bred.” *Squik* Who uses the word “bred” in this manner now???

But it was some interesting smut. Which was the entire point, lol.
