Guy Rule #1: Sisters Are Off Limits
Bailey Cross grew up as the only daughter of a single mom. When she finds out about a family she never knew she had, she travels half-way across the country to meet them. On the night Bailey hits town, her nerves get the better of her, making her act out of character when she meets Wyatt Kincaid in a bar and lets him take her home. After a night that rocks her world, she races out of his bed as quickly as she fell into it. But, there is one thing Bailey can’t run from, the baby she and Wyatt created.
Wyatt went out looking for a good time and found a hell of a lot more than he’d bargained for. He wants more than a one night stand with the woman in his bed; he wants a chance at forever. But when he wakes up the next morning, she’s gone. He searches for her, but Bailey is nowhere to be found… until he goes looking in his best friend’s home.
Warning: This novella contains a sexy alpha, insta-love, and an "oops" baby! It's quick, hot, and dirty.
Kindle Unlimited and being sick does this to a girl, lol.
So it’s starting to seem that baby romances are a thing. This I did not know. I’m used to the old trope of “first comes love, then comes marriage…” but this is full on baby desire. The guy is trying to get the girl pregnant and all that jazz. Very different.
So this book. Baby, You’re Mine is book one of a full series (Yeah, Baby) by Fiona Davenport that I’ve read lately. This one was rather cute, to be honest. I’d say that Fiona Davenport does remind me of Alexa Riley in the domineering possessive Alpha with the insta-love and babies…but Davenport gives a lot more plot and characterization. I’m enjoying them quite a bit (all things considered).
There’s not a lot to say – this is a low stress series. No angst, just two people finding out how much they like each other…while desperately deciding to have children NOW. If your biological clock isn’t ticking before reading this series and you don’t want it to, I’d suggest staying away. Hubby and I have decided to try to have children sometime in the future so I’m not really hearing any clocks. Yet. Let’s hope I get out of the series unscathed, lol.
With a full on baby romance, I’ve been introduced to comments like “plant my baby in you” over and over again.
This is a new experience for me, lol.
