Abbreviations

Random
TBR: To Be Read (pile) – the pile of books that are planned to be read.

Mt. TBR: TBR Mountain – The pile of TBR books has become so large that if stacked they would create a mountain.

SABLE: Sash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy – The pile of owned books has become so large that – in reality – you can read new books until the day you die and not buy a new one. This state does not keep readers from buying new books. O_O

Characters
H/h – Hero/Heroine (or Heroine/Hero)
TSTL – Too Stupid Too Live
MC – Main Character
Alphole – An asshole masquerading as an Alpha Male
Plot Moppet – A child character that has no real purpose other than to move the plot forward

Definitions
Geas – an obligation or prohibition magically imposed on a person

Diamond of the First Water – A diamond of the first water [of the first excellence] refers to the limpidity and luster of a precious stone, especially a diamond that is perfectly pure and transparent. The degree of brilliance in a diamond is called its ‘water.’ Clear white diamonds are called diamonds of the first water. It is also used as a metaphor for excellence, especially in Victorian England. A perfect debutante would be called “a diamond of the first water.”

BDSM – specifically breaks down to Bondage, Discipline, Dominance and Submission, Sadism and Masochism. Also a variety of erotic practices involving dominance and submission, roleplaying, bondage, and other interpersonal dynamics.

LGBT/GLBT – Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender. If you see Q at the end it can mean queer or questioning.

M/m/f – male/male/female. The capital “m” notates a dominate male character with one submissive female character and one submissive male character. This is also a menage relationship with sexual contact between the male characters.
F/f/m – female/female/male. The capital “f” notates a dominate female character with one submissive female character and one submissive male character. This is also a menage relationship with sexual contact between the female characters.
F/m/m – female/male/male. The capital “f” notates a dominate female character with two submissive males character. This is also a menage relationship with sexual contact between the male characters.
M/f/f – male/female/female. The capital “m” notates a dominate male character with twosubmissive female characters. This is also a menage relationship with sexual contact between the female characters.

Characteristics
Magical vagina/hooha/vajayjay – This is a vagina that is the literary equivalent of being dipped in gold, plated in platinum and sprinkled with diamonds. The magical vagina can heal everything that is wrong with the hero including major wounds and serious emotional trauma. Magical Penis – This is the same as the magical vagina but it also has the ability to give multiple orgasms at all times.
