I liked Shielding Lily! Unlike a lot of other recently AR books, Shielding Lily is longer and has a lot more of a plot. There are conversations between the H/h and time passes. The MCs don’t have sex within the first 5 mins of meeting each other. OMG. LOVED IT…. Read more »

Review: The Perfect Stroke (Lucas Brothers #1) by Jordan Marie
I really enjoyed The Perfect Stroke! I’ve been hitting Kindle Unlimited pretty hard lately – I really want to get more out of it than endless Alexa Riley books (I think I’ve decided that AR is like Pokémon – “gotta read them all” LOL). Most of the stuff I’ve been… Read more »
Review: Claimed By The Mountain Man (Modern Mail-Order Bride Romance #1) by Frankie Love
I’m not really sure how I feel about this one. I…felt that Claimed By The Mountain Man reads pretty similar to an Alexa Riley book…but it does have more plot than the typical Alexa Riley. And more pages. Claimed By The Mountain Man really had an actual plot. The plot… Read more »
Review: Down for the Count (Dare Me #1) by Christine Bell
I picked up this copy of Down for the Count in November 2014 so this book has been on Mt. TBR for one year, eight months. Down for the Count qualifies for my “The Mt. TBR Struggle is Real” challenge!!! Down for the Count also qualifies for my 2016 Kindle… Read more »
Review: The Billionaire and His Castaway (Alexa Riley Promises #3) by Alexa Riley
Oh Gosh. I barely had the willpower to get through this one. It took forever because nothing about it caught my attention. It was the same old, same old. Meh.
Review: Sugar Daddies by Jade West
DNF @ 36% So. This one falls 100% under “not my cup of tea.” I can’t say it’s particularly badly written: it’s not. It’s just not my thing. Sugar Daddies is about dudes who like to put two penises in the same hole at the same time. OUCH!! I’ve heard… Read more »
Review: Under Locke by Mariana Zapata
Mariana Zapata is the Queen of High Tension/Slow Burn and she broke me with this one. Though I have to say that the blurb for Under Locke was not well done. It does not really explain that Under Locke is a safe MC book and that Dex is a member… Read more »
Review: Sold to the Hitman by Alexis Abbott
DNF at 23% blah blah blah. Sold to the Hitman was…so incredibly boring that I couldn’t force myself to read past 23%. I thought the heroine was…bland, boring and forgettable. I was a little more interested in the hero but he was boring, too. Sometimes Kindle Unlimited leads to this… Read more »
Review: Engaging the Bachelor (Pulse #1) by Cathryn Fox
I found Engaging the Bachelor to be a sweet, quick read. This is my first time reading Cathryn Fox – a friend is in town and she basically shoved her eReader in to my stomach when I told her this. Read this! she demanded, lol. It was a super quick… Read more »
Review: Holding His Forever by Alexa Riley
Woot! This is one of the more detailed (read: better) AR books I’ve read in some time!!! Yaaaay for plots!! Holding His Forever is a pretty standard AR book: Tall, buff, wealthy-ish, large dude meets small, helpless, petite, delicate blonde chick. They fall in love at first sight, she’s a… Read more »
