One wild quickie with a sexy stranger will change Rae’s life forever.
Rae Stone is majoring in psychology so that she can open a clinic for autistic kids, but when her scholarship is yanked because she failed an impossible statistics course, she thinks she’s out of luck and doomed to return to her poverty-stricken hometown. Because she has three weeks of college freedom left, she goes to an upscale party and has a wild quickie with a stranger, who turns out to be the sexy owner of the Devilhouse, a BDSM club. He offers her a job that scares the heck out her, so she screws her courage to the sticking place and becomes Lady Macbeth, Domme of the Devilhouse. She’s found the money to stay in college, but will the secretive Wulf turn out to be her Prince Charming or the Devil who tempts her to ruin?
WARNING: Due to sexual content, this book recommended for ages 18 and over. This title contains voyeurism, girl-girl exploration, graphic language and a wild quickie that should have been a one-night-stand.
In April 2015 I received a free copy of the anthology Red Hot Beginnings. Red Hot Beginnings is an anthology with fourteen (14) different full length series openers. I decided to start reading Red Hot Beginnings because it was an anthology and I am hoping to find a few good books and a few new authors.
Since Red Hot Beginnings contains fourteen (14) full length novels, I’ve decided to review each entry separately.
Note: Red Hot Beginnings is no longer for sale. Each book will have to be acquired separately – some are still free.

Rae Falling. I’m not a fan of the title. Nor am I a fan of the fact that THIS is a serial as well. *sigh*
I want to start this review by admitting I was biased against this story for several reasons: 1) it’s a serial and I dislike serials; 2) I hate the title; 3) I looked up the series and…I was given the impression the author can’t make up her mind if this series is called Billionaires in Disguise or The Devilhouse. Let’s just call these “red flags.”
Rae Falling starts with the heroine, Rae, at a frat party. She gets roofied and is almost anally raped. WTF!!! This is the beginning??!
Rae’s anal virginity is saved by her friends. Yaaaay? The next day she tells them she is losing her scholarship and will have to quit school. Her friends hook her up with a potential job that will pay about $200 a hour. The job? Becoming a dominatrix. After having stranger sex with her potential new boss.
*bangs head against desk*
Really?! Really, fuckers?? I am so sick and tired of this anthology I don’t know what to do with myself. It’s just disappointment after disappointment after disappointment.
